Feed influence on thermodynamic criteria of unsteady cutting difficult-to-cut materials

Abstract

Analysis of feed influence on thermodynamic criteria of estimation of temperature- force loading of toolworkpiece contact zone has been carried out. Critical feed existing influencing on stabilization of specific mechanical loading of tool-workpiece contact zone has been determined. Possibility of obtaining minimization of tool wear rate by changing feed and rate of feed change in cutting operation is considered.
