Investigation of the influence of threaded inserts on the stressed-deformed state of the threaded connection

The numerical calculation of technological stresses in a threaded connection with the presence of a threaded insert made of corrosion-resistant heat-resistant steel 08H18N10 in the ANSYS software complex is performed. The effect of changing the thread pitch on the distribution of axial, radial and tangential stresses is studied. Analytic and numerical method is used to calculate the distribution of the load along the threads during uniaxial tension in the bolt-nut connection. The stress-strain state of a threaded connection with the presence of a threaded insert under uniaxial tension is obtained. The effect of installing a threaded insert in the joint is evaluated.Downloads
