Simulation of unsteady electrochemical machining by ellipsoidal electrode tool

An algorithm for the numerical simulation of electrochemical machining is developed. The problem of cutting by ellipsoidal electrode-tool is considered for example. Computational experiments with different ways of nodal points defining on the anode surface were carried out. The research for an ellipsoidal-electrode tool with different ratios of semi-axes and the different duration of the process was made. Error estimation using numerical data obtained for nets with different numbers of nodes and different values of the time step was done.Downloads
