The role of information resources by decision-making support at the regional level

Abstract

The paper deals with some peculiarities typical of management decision-making at the regional level, as well as some techniques and information technologies, and information resources on the basis of which a management decision is taken in an economic system at the regional level. The role of statistics as one of the tools for managing an economy is determined. A functional structure of the integrated system for supporting regional management is considered,aswellas aspecific nature of the knowledge base.
