Abstract

The article is devoted to the experimental investigations of the seaplane model with amortized float elements improving the seaworthiness. The seaworthy tow tank tests results of the seaplane model with amortized float elements fastened to the fuselage are presented. The experimental validation of the assumptions and computational modeling results demonstrates the seaworthiness improvement of the seaplane due to the floats amortization.
