The concept of creating a more electric aircraft engine

Abstract

The article provides a full review of the concepts of creating a more electric aircraft engines. The electrification prospects of the modern aircrafts have been considered. The analysis of electrical machines suitable for integration on the aircraft engine shaft has been carried out. Variants of starter-generator integration into a by-pass turbojet engine have been considered and their features have been revealed. An original algorithm, which taking into account the peculiarities of a starter-generator placement directly in an aircraft engine, for a starter-generator integrated into a by-pass turbojet engine designing has been proposed.
