Abstract

The AL-31ST engine sizing algorithm is suggested in this article. The engine sizing is in accordance with full gas pressure P*g0 and temperature T*g0 measured in the measuring part of the instrumented technological nozzle (TSMU) without thrust measurement of the gas generator (GG). The experimental tests have been taken on study of the fields of gas pressure and temperature in the TSMU measuring part with validation of direct inclusion of full pressure P*g0av into the ST power calculation algorithm measured in TSMU.  Unevenness of the measured gas temperature is taken into account by its correction with the coefficient Ktpg in thermodynamically correlated T*g cor with the parameters of the operation process and GG thrust. The suggested revision of the basic algorithm has provided an equivalent change of thrust in engine sizing measured in TSMU with gas parameters.
