Efficiency of the introduction the intermediate heating in cycle of afterburning turbofan for supersonic the aircraft

Abstract

It is shown theoretically that for effectively use of the intermediate the heating in a afterburning turbofan for the reason maximize of increasing a degree of double-circuit by reduction of the diametrical sizes of the internal circuit at conservation of the degree increasing of the pressure of the fan and total air flow through the external and inner circuit necessary to use at the engine design as criterion to efficiency the maximum of the degree the reduction of the pressure in of the internal circuit, but the degree of increasing of the pressure to increase before ensuring of the absolute maximum this the criterion to efficiency. With such a method of using the intermediate heating is provided a noticeable decrease of specific fuel the consuumption at subsonic flightspeed, as well as an increase of air flow through the external circuit and thrust of engine when switching at ramjet regime of working to provide a high supersonic flight speed.
