MATHEMATICAL DESCRIPTION OF PARTICLE MOTION IN THE DUST-PROOF DEVICE OF A GAS TURBINE ENGINE

The motion of dust particles moving in the air under the action of centrifugal forces in the inner chamber of the dust protection device is investigated. The analysis of the cumulative forces acting on a dust particle during the movement of a two-phase flow in the field of action of centrifugal forces of the dust protection device is carried out. A mathematical model describing the movement of the air-material flow is presented. A computational solution of the problem of particle motion in a gas flow is given, take in account the interaction of the particle with the outer walls of the chamber of the dust-proof device.Downloads
