Study of microarc oxidation using the AlSi10Mg alloy parts produced by selective laser melting

This work is devoted to studying the formation of corrosion-resistant coatings using microarc oxidation on the AlSi10Mg alloy parts produced by selective laser melting and determining the optimal time for their oxidation. It was found that in the studied time range of up to 350 minutes, the formation of coatings occurs at different deposition rates; the coatings are characterized by an uneven layer thickness over the entire surface of the sample and the presence of pores. The most effective oxidation time to obtain a coating with a more uniform structure in the working layer and with the presence of single pores is 120 minutes, while the coating thickness ranges from 60 to 270 micronsDownloads
