Analytical approach in mathematical modeling of an aircraft propeller taking into account air compressibility

The article describes the solution of a scientific problem, which consists in developing a method for taking into account the compressibility of air in the mathematical modeling of an aircraft propeller in order to increase the efficiency and reliability of computational and theoretical studies on the formation of a preliminary technical appearance of power plants of various types according to the criteria of aircraft. The procedure for calculating the thrust of a screw power plant is presented, taking into account the interaction of the propeller and the airframe of the aircraft, and a description of the algorithm of the mathematical model of the propeller is given. The results of a qualitative and quantitative assessment of the effect of air compressibility on the aerodynamic coefficients of a propeller are given on the basis of characteristics based on the results of tests of propellers in wind tunnels. Verification results are presented based on the results of calculating the altitude-speed characteristics of the power plant of the An-12 turboprop aircraft using the program "Calculation of the traction-economic and specific-mass characteristics of the power plant and the parameters of the movement of the aircraft", finalized by introducing into the algorithm for calculating the propeller thrust of the metering aircraft influence of air compressibility on its aerodynamic coefficientsDownloads
