Abstract

The results of a study of the supply of a coolant by a porous abrasive wheel to the processing zone during high-speed creep feed grinding are presented. A method is presented for determining the optimal position of the nozzle in relation to the abrasive wheel and the workpiece, ensuring the absence of burns on the machined surface when grinding with a tool based on cubic boron nitride (CBN).
