Abstract

This article considers the main reasons for the occurrence of negative thrust of a turboprop engine with variable-pitch propeller in flight and provides a detailed description of the existing methods and means of protection against negative thrust while proposing a modern approach to the construction of a negative thrust protection system using the calculated value of the propeller thrust.
