Abstract

This paper describes the process for constructing a reactor model of a gas turbine engine (GTE) combustion chamber, using 3D modeling results, with a formalized identification of zones limiting carbon monoxide oxidation. The reactor model and calculation results for the combustion chamber of the GTE-10/953 industrial gas turbine are presented, with configurations before and after conversion from aviation kerosene to natural gas. The difference between the calculated and experimental values for carbon monoxide (CO) emissions averaged 13%. doi: 10.54708/19926502_2026_30311335
