Abstract

The study analyzes the effect of cutting modes (speed, feed, constant cutting depth) on the formation of surface residual stresses in the heat-resistant nickel alloy EI698-VD. Key results: The cutting speed (V = 15–55 m/min) determines the depth and nature of the residual stresses. The feed of the cutting tool (S = 0.075–0.2 mm/rpm) affects the type of residual stresses. doi 10.54708/19926502_2026_30211274
