The use of induction motor drive to simulate the mechanical characteristics of generalpurpose mechanisms

Abstract

This paper describes a method for simulating the mechanical characteristics of general-purpose mechanisms by frequency-controlled induction motor drive. The possibility of constructing control algorithms for nonstandard tests and effectively creating different types of loads is shown. A simplified implementation, which serves to demonstrate the frequency-controlled induction motor drive capabilities, is shown.
